The “U Gałązków” agro-tourism farm is located in the small, secluded village of Zielomysl, 4,5 km north from the town of Pszczew among fields, old forests and in the vicinity of picturesque lakes, ponds and Obra River old river-beds. This beautiful village refuge is run by Janina and Giena Gałązka. This happy and friendly couple are winners of numerous prizes for their farm. In 1998, the farm received the 1st prize in competition “Green Summer 98″ for best agro-tourism farm in the region and in the same year a Special Prize of the weekly “Gospodyni” (Housekeeper) for quality of services. In 2005, the farm won a competition organised by regional newspaper “Gazeta Lubuska” among its readers for best agro-tourism farm in the Lubuskie Province.

Agro-tourism farm “U Gałązków” in Zielomyśl is located in the Lubuskie region in the Western Poland close to the border with Germany. The Lubuskie region is mainly an agricultural land with almost no industry but rich in forests, lakes, beautiful fields and good road infrastructure. This is a land of so called “Two hundred lakes.” Zielomyśl is hidden between pine forests, small hills and picturesque valleys. The Lubuskie region is the most forested area in Poland with forests covering over 50% of the land surface. There are numerous landscape parks and nature monuments.

Rich fauna and flora, clean water in lakes, gentle climate, historical monuments, well organised camp sites, recreational centres and nature and historical paths can fulfil the needs and desires of any kind of tourist. The region offers perfect conditions for rest for fans of walking in the forests, picking wild berr ies and mushrooms, angling, visiting historical monuments, sun bathing, sailing, bird watching and for many other people who love the nature and village atmosphere. Within close distance from Zielomyśl there are 1 National Park (Warta River Estuary), 25 Nature Reserves, 5 Landscape Parks (the nearest are the Pszczew and Łagów Landscape Parks), 1000 nature monuments and many other interesting places worth visiting
